The tech
My default stack is Next.js (App Router) and React with TypeScript, styled in Tailwind, with Framer Motion where motion earns its place. For data I reach for Drizzle or Prisma on MySQL or Postgres. Payments are usually Stripe and PayPal with idempotent webhooks so nobody gets double-charged. I deploy on Vercel or self-host with Docker when a project needs it. I pick boring, reliable tools on purpose — the goal is software that still runs cleanly a year after I've handed it over.
